Capitol Bowl has been a cornerstone of West Sacramento community life since the early 1950’s.
Originally “El Rancho Bowl” , Capitol Bowl was the first racially integrated bowling alley in Northern California, the first to have women-only bowling leagues, and a favorite of the Rolling Stones whenever they came to town for concerts.
Capitol Bowl is everything you like to see in a bowling alley – birthday parties, bowling leagues, happy hour in the bar and grill, and also “glow bowling.”
“Capitol Bowl was surprisingly nicer than I had expected! I must say that it is one of the better bowling venues in the Sacramento area.” – Josh D.
“I haven’t bowled in ages. Then my husband organized a bowling outing with friends. We had a great time. Capitol Bowl is not just clean, but updated, warm, and friendly. It’s a convenient location for us.” – Teresa F.
“Our first time to this bowling alley and I must say its real nice! Everything is super modern inside. They have a small arcade for the kids and bar and food area. Fun music playing. We had two lanes it was family night out to bowl. Everyone from our teenagers to the 6 year olds had a blast. Check this place out if you haven’t already.” – R V.
